Essential for Living
At P231K we implement the Essential for Living program as a part of our curricular. The mission of Essential for Living is to provide student's with moderate-to-severe disabilities, including but not limited to autism, a comprehensive life skills curriculum with social validity, along with evidence-based teaching, assessment strategies and procedures, that result in the improvement of the quality of life our student's deserve.

Through our “Essentials for Living” program, we provide our students with the tools they need to lead successful lives, including health and wellness, financial literacy, communication skills, and more.We are committed to providing our students with a safe and supportive environment to learn and grow. We strive to instill a sense of curiosity, openness, and empathy in each of our students, and to encourage them to explore their passions and find their purpose in life.
