What is NYSAA
The New York State Alternate Assessment (NYSAA) is part of the New York State Testing Program and is designed for students with severe cognitive disabilities. Administered in ELA, math, and science, the assessment evaluates student knowledge and skills aligned with the NYS alternate standards (Dynamic Learning Maps).
